As an Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technologist, you will provide high-quality electroencephalography (EEG) services to support the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders. Working collaboratively with neurologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will perform EEG studies, ensure accurate data collection, and contribute to safe, patient-centered care.
Description:
As an Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technologist, you will determine which ENP tests to perform based on clinical history, findings, and protocols. You will provide feedback to surgeons for early detection of intraoperative injury, allowing for immediate corrective measures and will resolve unusual or complex cases referred by the EEG Technologist I's or refers them to the appropriate individual(s) You will implement, maintain and assess approved quality control procedures. You will participate in the recruitment and selection of staff and coordinate the orientation of new employees. You will also provide technical and problem solving advice to other EEG Technologists.

Required Qualifications:
Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technology program. Current registration through CBRET. Experience performing routine and specialized EEG studies in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of EEG instrumentation, recording techniques, and quality assurance practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years recent (within the last 5 years) EEG experience.
