We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in food preparation and a passion for working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and cooking menu items
- Make fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, and subs to order
- Support daily food prep, kitchen setup, and organization
- Confidently handle, cut, cook, and serve various types of meat
- Maintain cleanliness by washing and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are followed
- Help keep the kitchen clean, orderly, and running smoothly
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler Certificate (required at the interview)
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment is an asset
- Comfortable working with all types of meat
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong multitasking, time-management, and organizational skills
