The Club is recruiting a Senior Assistant Tennis Professional to join the Activities Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality tennis programming, with a primary focus on overseeing the Junior Progressive Competitive Program. The position includes a combination of group instruction, private lessons, team coaching, and event support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the Junior Progressive Competitive Program.
- Deliver junior and adult group clinics.
- Coach junior and adult competitive teams.
- Provide private and semi-private lessons.
- Assist with club events, tournaments, and special programming.
- Help promote and grow participation in club programming.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Tennis Professional and coaching team.
Requirement
- Minimum Tennis Canada Coach 2 / Club Pro 2 certification (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for developing players of all ages and abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional, energetic, and member-focused attitude.
Remarks
- Approximately 35–40 on-court hours per week, with additional administrative responsibilities.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
