We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista - Gelato Server to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of gelato flavors and espresso beverages with precision and care
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient cashiering and transactions
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, demonstrating strong cash handling skills
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food handling and preparation areas
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Restock supplies as needed and keep the serving area organized
- Follow food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times
Skills
- Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to assist customers and collaborate with team members
