Job Summary
At Mathnasium, our mission is to teach children math in a way that makes sense to them, building confidence and a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging instructors who are passionate about helping students succeed in Math.
Responsibilities
- Teach students using the Mathnasium Method™. Training will be provided.
- Provide engaging, individualized instruction to students of varying skill levels.
- Assess students (Kindergarten-Grade 12) understanding and adapt instruction as needed.
- Create a positive, encouraging, and productive learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with center staff and parents when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate student progress records and follow center procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
- Strong understanding of elementary, middle school, and high school mathematics.
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, patient, and professional with a positive attitude.
- Passion for working with children and helping them build confidence in math.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
