Job Overview
Aworie Health is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to support the growth of its multidisciplinary mental health practice across Ontario. This role will focus on psychological assessments for WSIB and MVA files, clinical supervision of therapists, and consultation on complex cases, with an emphasis on trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and function-focused care.
Position Summary
The Clinical Psychologist will complete psychological assessments, provide diagnostic and functional formulation, prepare insurer and third-party reports, and support treatment planning for clients involved in workplace injury and motor vehicle accident claims. The role will also provide clinical supervision, consultation, and quality oversight for associate therapists and other clinicians within the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments for WSIB and MVA clients, including clinical interviews, psychometric screening where appropriate, diagnostic impressions, and functional analysis.
- Complete and sign required assessment, progress, and return-to-work documentation for WSIB files within payer timelines.
- Prepare clinical opinions, treatment recommendations, and medico-legal style summaries for insurer, employer, and rehabilitation contexts where appropriate.
- Provide case consultation to psychotherapists, social workers, and other clinicians on diagnostic complexity, risk, treatment planning, and occupational recovery.
- Deliver clinical supervision to staff in accordance with applicable College standards and clinic policies.
- Review complex files, support quality assurance, and contribute to policy, documentation, and clinical program development.
- Collaborate with administration on service coordination, payer compliance, and timely report submission.
- Maintain accurate, defensible, and timely documentation in the clinic’s approved systems and uphold privacy obligations under PHIPA and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Competence in adult psychological assessment, differential diagnosis, and report writing.
- Experience with WSIB, MVA, disability, occupational mental health, trauma, or third-party funded files strongly preferred.
- Experience supervising psychotherapists, social workers, or other mental health clinicians preferred.
- Strong knowledge of return-to-work principles, functional impairment, and evidence-based mental health intervention.

Pay: $180.00-$260.00 per hour
