As an Event Supervisor, you will be a vital part of our team, providing exceptional customer service to event attendees and leading our event team. Precise ParkLink (West) Ltd. is seeking strong individuals to fill the role of Parking Lot Supervisor for Events, overseeing all event-related parking lot duties within Edmonton Downtown Events. This is a full-time position supporting Oilers games, concerts, tradeshows, and special events. Candidates must be available to work evenings, in all types of weather, often late into the night and occasional early morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide positive experiences for all guests and teammates
- Lead and support a diverse team of event staff, fostering inclusive, respectful, and a collaborative work environment
- Ensure the location is operated and maintained to company standards
- Conduct daily site inspections
- Report and request servicing or repairs for equipment
- Complete financial and daily reports with our Event Manager
- Drive and maintain fleet vehicles
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including placing signs and barricades (ability to lift 25–50 lbs required)
- Parking lot enforcement
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisor experience
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; motivated, organized, high integrity
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to perform consistently at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Operate mobile device and desktop computer
- Previous experience in the parking industry is an asset
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be available to work mostly evenings, including late nights
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Must have maintained personal vehicle insurance for a minimum of 3 years, and be able to supply insurance history
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
