Summary
We are searching for a dedicated Maintenance professional to oversee and manage the smooth operation and upkeep of our luxurious resorts and shared accommodation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance team members and uphold our high standards of comfort and service, contributing directly to our guests' memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily maintenance operations including landscaping across the properties.
- Manage department budget, schedules, and payroll.
- Lead, guide and coach the maintenance team.
- Manage the preventative maintenance program.
- Perform minor repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
- Coordinate with local tradesman for major repairs.
- Work closely with the property management company to coordinate maintenance requests, track work orders, and ensure timely follow-up and completion of required tasks.
- Partake in bi-weekly shared accommodation inspections, organizing and completing repairs as required.
- Manage pool and hot tubs, including water samples and chemical testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
.Qualifications
- Proven management and supervisory experience in a hospitality or resort environment.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available in emergency situations.
- Strong knowledge in hotel maintenance and groundskeeping.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work and coordinate repairs with other department leaders.
