Join Our Flight Operations Team
The Hrycay Consulting Engineers Inc. flight department has been in operation for 16 years with a growing fleet of aircraft providing long term, stable opportunities for pilots. Our flight operations department provides support for our engineering team flying throughout Canada and the United States. Pilot and maintenance support is provided by NovaJet Aviation Group allowing our pilots to focus on the safe execution of their mission with NovaJet providing operational support.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safe and efficient flight operations.
Our full-time operation and growing pilot roster provide our pilots with a predictable schedule of days off. We are currently seeking additional safety-focused Captains and First Officers to join our flight department operating a Citation M2 based in Windsor, Ontario.
General Requirements (All Applicants)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or otherwise authorized to work in Canada)
- Valid Canadian Category 1 Medical Certificate
- Valid Passport
- Ability to travel to and enter the United States without restriction as a flight crew member
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Strong customer service and professional communication skills
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules as operationally required
First Officer Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Valid Multi-Engine Rating
- Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating
- Minimum 1,000 hours Total Flight Time
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time
Captain Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Minimum 3,000 hours Total Flight Time
- Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time
Responsibilities
- Conduct flight operations in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism
- Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with operational requirements
- Work collaboratively with flight department personnel and passengers
- Participate in ongoing training and proficiency programs
