Location: London Mount Brydges, ON
We are currently hiring a Sanitation Worker for a bakery facility in Mount Brydges. This is an afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) position.
Please Note: A reliable vehicle is required, as there is no public transportation or bus service available to this location.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment by cleaning production equipment, work areas, and common spaces in accordance with food safety and health regulations.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize bakery production equipment, workstations, floors, and food processing areas.
- Wash and disinfect machinery, conveyors, mixers, racks, and other bakery equipment following sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, washrooms, hallways, and storage areas.
- Remove waste, garbage, and recycling according to company procedures.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other sanitation tools.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure sanitation stations remain fully stocked.
- Follow all food safety, health and safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Report equipment damage, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Perform other sanitation and cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle, as there is no bus service to the work location.
- Must be available to work the afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM).
- Previous sanitation, cleaning, manufacturing, or bakery experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Comfortable standing, bending, walking, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $18.00-$18.60 per hour
