We are currently seeking a Business Manager to oversee the company’s financial and administrative operations. This individual will work closely with ownership to manage accounting functions, enhance operational efficiency, and support the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) operations
- Supervise and provide guidance to administrative staff responsible for daily invoicing and accounting functions
- Support monthly and year-end financial close processes
- Prepare financial reports and statements as required
- Track, monitor, and prepare reports related to equipment maintenance costs
- Assist with preparing quotes and analyzing equipment-related expenses
- Oversee income from commercial rental properties and tenants
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve day-to-day systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related role
- Experience in the construction, transportation, or logistics industry will be considered an asset
- Proficiency with accounting software (Sage preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
