Program and Staff Coordinator

Position Overview:
As Program and Staff Coodinator at Extra Ed, you will play a vital role in the functioning of our organization. You will be responsible for a wide range of program-related tasks that contribute to the quality and effectiveness of our roster of instructional staff and wide array of programming.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Staff Training and Management:
- Provide training to instructional staff on Extra Ed policies and procedures, including the online instructor Portal.
- Provide training to instructional staff on Extra Ed on-site procedures and logistics.
- Provide training to instructional staff on program topics, activities, and activity guides as needed.
- Support hiring and on-boarding of new instructional staff.
- Manage and monitor instructional staff documentation, including employment agreements, training status, VSC submissions, required certifications, etc.
Program oversight:
- Monitor delivery and quality of ongoing programs.
- Oversee instructor performance on site and provide support as needed.
- Liaise with clients and program recipients regarding program requirements, requests, and respond to emerging issues/complaints.
Curriculum development:
- Brainstorm and develop new programs under various topics for grades JK-8.
- Develop diverse and age-appropriate activity guides and resources for instructional staff to use in program delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in education for school-age students or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with training instructors/educators for program delivery is preferred.
- Previous experience in curriculum development for grades JK-8 preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for education, empowerment, and making a positive impact on the lives of young minds.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
