RS Express Ltd. is currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our dynamic courier and transportation team. Key Responsibilities

Maintain regular communication with drivers & monitor driver locations, delivery status, and ETA; re-route as needed

Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and customer service teams.

Prioritize and schedule urgent or time-sensitive shipments

Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, when communicating with clients and drivers

Provide backup coverage for dispatchers and customer service representatives during absences, meetings, or peak periods, including monitoring after-hours calls and late driver returns

Assist with scheduling deliveries and coordinating logistics between customers and drivers

Maintain a strong working knowledge of fleet operations, including driver assignments, fleet availability, and role responsibilities

Monitor customer calls in real time and ensure prompt communication regarding delays, cancellations, or service changes

Support general office duties as assigned

Participate in team meetings to share feedback and contribute to continuous operational improvements
Qualifications & Experience

1-2 years of experience dispatching and customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to work with logistics and delivery software, with adaptability to new systems and technology

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability

Proficiency with dispatch/routing software and vehicle GPS tracking software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (at the employee’s expense)

Legally eligible to work in Canada
Working Conditions
-
Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with flexibility for staggered start times as required

In-office role, reporting to the Transportation Operations Lead

Occasional filing and office organization requiring standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Periodic work in the yard to meet with drivers, as operational needs arise
