Job description
This position is located at our Vancouver downtown office, starting immediately. It involves all aspects of the duties/responsibilities associated with Customs Clearance/Customs Brokerage (e.g. receiving information from and assisting retail and business clients, completion of customs clearance documentation, processing of import documentation, regular liaison with Customs personnel and internal clients). You will assist in ensuring that all entries are released, classified and billed accurately within our service standards.
In office training is required.
After training has been completed, this role is classified as hybrid; onsite work is mandatory at least 2 days per week.
Essential qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 year of customs clearance
- CCS certified or in progress
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to accurately key 40 wpm
- Professional demeanor, flexible attitude and can efficiently multi-task
- Well-developed analytical and time management skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of work and meet tight deadlines
- Basic knowledge in Customs operations, laws and regulations and other government departments is an asset
- Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.
