We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dental Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. We are growing our very busy practice and seek an ideal candidate with strong administrative and financial skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures, and experience in managing patient interactions. As a Dental Administrator, you will ensure smooth clinic functioning, maintain accurate records, and support clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment.
Some evening and weekend hours required.
Duties
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out processes, and ensure efficient flow of clinical operations.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of patient information.
- Coordinate with dental practitioners, hygienists, and support staff to facilitate daily clinic activities.
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using dental management software such as Powerpractice and recallmax platforms
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, medical terminology standards, and safety protocols within the dental practice.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management Powerpractice, recallmax or equivalent electronic medical records systems.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, dental terminology, and healthcare regulations.
- Experience in dental office administration with familiarity in billing, coding, and insurance processing. please do not apply if you do not have dental experience.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining confidentiality standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
