Coffee Shop Manager

$60,000 – $65,000 dependent on experience
Ruth & Naomi's Mission is seeking a Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the operations and continued growth of our social enterprise coffee shop locations.
This role combines operational leadership with social impact, ensuring excellence in customer service, product quality, financial sustainability, and participant employment development across multiple coffee shop locations. The Coffee Shop Manager will play a key role in creating meaningful employment and training opportunities through our Employment Program while leading teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations across multiple coffee shop locations
- Lead staffing, scheduling, training, inventory management, and ordering
- Ensure high standards of customer service and product quality
- Support the development and mentorship of coffee shop staff
- Collaborate with the Employment Program team to support participant placements and workplace skill development
- Promote the coffee shops as welcoming community hubs that reflect Ruth & Naomi's Mission and values
- Support growth, sustainability, and social enterprise initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in café, restaurant, hospitality, or retail food service environments
- Experience leading teams and fostering positive workplace culture
- Strong customer service, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience in social enterprise, employment support, or nonprofit environments is considered an asset
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification (Level 2 considered an asset)
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and willingness to sign our statement of faith
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary of $60,000 – $65,000 dependent on experience
