We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Tire Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, rotating, and maintaining commercial truck and heavy-duty vehicle tires while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Install, remove, repair, and balance commercial truck and heavy-duty vehicle tires.
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
- Repair punctures and replace damaged tires as required.
- Perform tire rotations and preventive maintenance.
- Operate tire mounting, balancing, and service equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Provide professional customer service and explain repair recommendations when required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with general shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- Valid Ontario Wheel Installer Certificate (Mandatory).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Commercial Tire Installer or Tire Technician.
- Experience servicing commercial trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of commercial tire installation, repair, balancing, and maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence (DZ or AZ Licence is an asset).
- Experience with roadside tire service is an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of commercial fleet maintenance is an asset
