Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with the ability to engage and inspire students in various subjects, including Math and Physics grade 9 to 12. This role is essential in providing individualized support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals while fostering a positive learning environment.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students from grade.
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts in subjects such as Math and Physics
- Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, including those of students with special education needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents or guardians as needed.
- Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and motivation.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of educational practices, particularly in Math and Physics.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Ability to effectively educate and communicate with children of various ages.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
