The Driving Force Group of Companies is a network of world-class transportation and fleet management solutions companies. We're proud to be an Alberta success story that began in a rented office above a small service station. With a can-do attitude and people-first culture, we've grown into an industry leader spanning over 40 locations with over 600+ employees.
We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team at our Edmonton corporate head office.
What Moves You:
- You take genuine pride in being a capable force behind the scenes, the person executives can hand something to and trust it will get done, right, and on time.
- You're energized by variety and complexity, moving seamlessly between managing a executive’s calendar, coordinating a corporate event, and overseeing building security without missing a beat.
- You hold confidentiality and discretion as core values, not just job requirements. You understand the trust that comes with being close to executive decision-making and you guard it carefully.
- You find satisfaction in building order out of competing priorities, and you enjoy being the person who makes everyone else's day run smoother.
- You care about people as much as process.
What You'll Do:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the executive teams, managing complex calendars, travel, correspondence, and meeting coordination across multiple executives at once.
- Oversee building security and access management for the corporate and fleet central office buildings, acting as the key liaison with building management and security providers.
- Lead and develop the Administrative Assistant, setting clear service standards and workflows to ensure consistent, professional front-office and visitor experiences.
- Plan and execute corporate events and employee engagement initiatives, partnering closely with Marketing & Communications and Human Resources to bring company culture to life.
- Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables from executive and leadership meetings, while managing expense reports, purchase orders, and sensitive business information with discretion.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in executive support or office administration, with a degree, diploma, or certificate in Business or Office Administration.
- Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, with proven experience managing complex, competing priorities in a fast-paced executive environment.
- Demonstrated experience supervising administrative staff and coordinating corporate events or employee engagement programs.
- Strong business writing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- A sound, proactive judgment and an unwavering commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and discretion — plus a valid driver's license.
What We Offer:
- Competitive wages and flexible benefits.
- Our company RRSP matching program.
- 50% off rentals at any of our Driving Force locations.
- Learning and growth opportunities.
- Paid vacation and wellness time.
- We support your wellbeing through our Thrive wellness program.
- We 'Celebrate Great' through our rewards and recognition programs.
