Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Turtle Jacks in Oakville. In this role, you will support our kitchen operations by preparing ingredients and assisting with food assembly, ensuring smooth service and high-quality dishes. This position is vital to maintaining our standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and recipes according to company standard in a timely manner
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently.
- Support chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed.
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet health standards.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent guest service.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant kitchens is required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
