Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in various welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Require CWB Supervisor Certification (CSA W47.2 / Ontario welding standards)
- Supervise and coordinate welding activities across multiple projects, including MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting operations.
- Ensure all welding work complies with industry standards, blueprints, schematics, and safety regulations.
- Oversee the setup and operation of equipment such as press brake machines, cranes, forklifts, and power tools.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, hand tools, and basic math to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Manage rigging operations and coordinate with machining teams for precise fabrication.
- Train and mentor welders on proper techniques, safety procedures, and use of hand tools.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols related to welding, construction, and material handling.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as plasma cutters, press brakes, and welding machines to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding supervision within manufacturing or construction settings.
- require CWB Supervisor Certification (CSA W47.2 / Ontario welding standards)
- Extensive knowledge of MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and related fabrication techniques.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
