Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns.
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, and alignments.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, driveline, and electrical system issues.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair gasoline, hybrid, and alternative fuel vehicles.
- Accurately document diagnosis, cause, and repair procedures.
- Complete warranty documentation and maintain accurate repair records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay current with manufacturer training and repair procedures.
Requirements:
- Current Journeyman Automotive Service Technician or Red Seal certification.
- Import or domestic dealership experience is considered an asset.
- Diesel experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and dealership management systems (CDK experience is an asset).
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must supply your own tools.
- Valid Alberta driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to be insured.
