Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the excavation, preparation, and installation of pools, interlock paving stones, concrete surfaces, and landscaping features.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Set up and maintain work areas, ensuring job sites are clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools, including but not limited to shovels, wheelbarrows, compaction machines, and power tools.
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and placing materials to achieve project specifications.
- Mix and pour concrete, set forms, and assist with finishing tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure the safety of all team members and the general public.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Assist with the removal and disposal of debris and excess materials.
- Maintain strong communication with supervisors and other team members to report any issues or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
