Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in bartending, and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing bar operations efficiently. The Senior Bartender will lead by example, ensuring that all drinks are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
- Train and mentor junior bartenders and staff on best practices in bartending, customer service, and food safety.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a bartending role within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment operation.
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Micros POS is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
