Varo Industries is an energy services provider specializing in measurement solutions, instrumentation, and LGR/GOR well testing. We support clients across a vast region including Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, Grande Cache, Hinton, Edson, and Fox Creek.
We’re growing and are looking for a motivated Meter Proving Technician to join our expanding team. If you’re safety‑driven, hands‑on, and eager to advance your skills in a fast‑paced field environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Liquid meter proving, both bench and inline - master meter & volumetric
- Product sampling
- Troubleshooting and repair of meters
- Smart meter verifications
- Verify/Calibrate product analyzers such as water cut devices
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards (AER, BCER, API, etc)
Qualifications
- Previous experience proving meters is required
- Valid safety certifications (H2S, First Aid, etc.)
- Clean Class 5 driver’s license with driver’s abstract
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing
- Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills
- Fluent in Microsoft suite of software applications
- Problem‑solving mindset with adaptability in dynamic field environments
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
