Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Line Cook and Pizza Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring excellent service and food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail, including pizza and other dishes
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver high-quality meals
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service times
- Adhere to food handling procedures to ensure food safety compliance
- Support team members in meal preparation and kitchen operations as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of food handling regulations and sanitation standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
