Overview
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various tools and repair techniques. Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and modifications
- Read and interpret schematics, repair manuals, and technical diagrams for accurate diagnostics
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Assemble or disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or inspections
- Heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment safely in accordance with safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
Qualifications
- Valid mechanic license with relevant certifications required
- Dealership experience preferred but not mandatory; extensive mechanic experience is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
