Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Plumbing Apprentice / Helper!
Must currently live in or near the Comox Valley.
We are hiring 1st to 3rd level apprentices to help us complete this seasons busy building season and beyond. You will work closely with experienced plumbers and technicians to learn essential skills, assist with installation and repair tasks, and develop a solid foundation in the trade. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to gain practical knowledge, build technical expertise, and grow within a thriving industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers and technicians with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial settings.
- Safely and respectfully conduct yourself in a productive, loud construction environment
- Be able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install pipes, fixtures, and related components.
- Be able to drill through joists, floors and other wood with a large power drill overhead.
- Safely maintain a clean work area by organizing tools, materials and van stock
Experience
1st-3rd year apprenticeship schooling an asset.
Basic understanding of plumbing principles.
Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and schematics under supervision and alone.
Willingness to learn and be teachable.
Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork.
Ability to follow instructions carefully while developing technical skills on the job.
Positive attitude, cleanliness and reliability are a huge asset.

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
