Delta Group is hiring a Grade Man / Grade Checker to assist with layout, grading, and elevation control on construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience reading plans and working closely with operators and site supervisors..
Responsibilities
- Check grades and elevations on site
- Read construction drawings and grade plans
- Set and verify grade stakes
- Assist excavator operators during excavation and grading
- Ensure accuracy of measurements and layout
- Maintain safety standards on site
Requirements
- Experience in grading or civil construction
- Ability to read blueprints and site plans
- Familiarity with laser levels and grading equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
