About the Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Carpenter plays a key role in sheeting and assembling custom container-based structures. Beyond carpentry, this role contributes to improving how we work—supporting our 5S and continuous improvement initiatives to build a cleaner, safer, and more efficient shop.

Responsibilities:
- Prepping materials in preparation for each job.
- Constructing projects according to specs provided by project plans.
- Troubleshooting construction-related issues and involving the Production Supervisor to resolve issues, where necessary.
- Working with multiple material types such as steel, wood and drywall.
- Insulating and paneling interior walls.
- Installing windows and interior doors.
- Flooring.
- Trimming and finishing interiors.
- Painting
- Keeping common work areas and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed.
- Working collaboratively with others to complete construction.
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools.
- 3 years of general trades experience on job sites.
- General knowledge gained from experience, of the following skills: Carpentry, door and window installation, wall paneling, and finishing.
- Specialized trades experience in addition to 3 years of general trades experience is considered an asset.
- Team-oriented and positive attitude.
- Ability to keep job site tidy and organized.
- Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
- Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
