Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales & Marketing Representative with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience to manage our inbound pipeline and proactively grow our market share.
This is a 90% Sales and 10% Marketing role. You will spend the vast majority of your day at your desk managing inbound leads, quoting, and closing deals. However, we are also looking for a strategic thinker who can spend about 10% of their time optimizing our Google Ads and web presence to keep the phone ringing.
The Best of Both Worlds: You get the stability of a great base salary to manage our consistent inbound leads, plus a direct, uncapped bonus structure for any new business you actively hunt and close through outbound prospecting.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Sales & Admin (90%): Promptly handle inbound calls and emails from the website and Google Ads. Consult with commercial clients, provide accurate quotes, arrange delivery logistics, and handle invoicing for commercial refrigerated rentals and equipment sales.
- Outbound Prospecting (Bonus Driver): Identify and reach out to new B2B prospects (cold/warm outreach) who are not currently in our database to secure new rental agreements and sales.
- Digital Marketing Support (10%): Monitor and help optimize our Google Ads campaigns to maximize lead quality and ad spend efficiency.
- System Management: Utilize our specialized rental software (EZ Rent Out) to track orders, inventory availability, and customer details (no previous CRM experience required; we will train you).
Key Skills & Core Competencies
Sales & Revenue Generation
- B2B Sales: 5+ years of proven success selling or renting products/services to other business entities.
- Inbound Sales Conversion: Expertise in handling warm incoming calls and web leads, qualifying needs, and closing deals efficiently.
- Outbound Prospecting (Hunting): Strong ability to self-source new business, identify target commercial accounts, and conduct cold/warm outreach.
- Account Management: Skilled at nurturing client relationships to secure repeat rental business and equipment sales.
Technical & Digital Marketing
- Google Ads / PPC: Functional understanding or experience with Google Ads management and campaign tracking (highly preferred).
- Sales Administration: Experience managing the full transaction lifecycle, including detailed quoting, order processing, and invoicing.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly adapt to specialized industry software (experience with EZ Rent Out or similar rental/ERP platforms is a major plus).
Communication & Professional Traits
- Commercial Communication: Exceptional phone etiquette and professional written communication skills tailored for B2B corporate clients.
- Time Management & Multitasking: Proven ability to handle high-volume inbound inquiries while simultaneously managing paperwork and outbound sales tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven B2B or industrial sales experience. Experience in equipment rental, commercial appliances, HVAC, or logistics is a major asset.
- Marketing Advantage: Hands-on experience managing or optimizing Google Ads campaigns is highly preferred.
- Work Style: This is a 100% desk-based, in-office role in Newmarket, ON. No yard work or physical labor required.
- Mindset: A unique blend of a structured account manager (to handle inbounds) and a motivated hunter (to chase outbound bonuses).

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (Paid hourly, approx. $28.85 to $33.65/hr).
- Uncapped Bonus Structure: Earn lucrative bonuses tied strictly to your individual sales goals achieved through your own outbound prospecting and net-new business generation.
