Job Description:
As a Dog Daycare & Kennel Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of all dogs under our care. If you love dogs and enjoy working in an active, hands-on environment, this role is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with dogs to keep them happy and entertained through various activities and play sessions.
- Feed dogs according to their specific schedules and feeding instructions provided.
- Administer medication when required, and accurately record feeding and medication details.
- Document each dog's behavior and personality traits, such as energy level, sociability, and temperament, in their profiles.
- Capture pictures of the dogs to share with team members in our group updates.
- Perform cleaning duties, including regular sanitization, changing sheets, and transporting laundry.
- Ensure play areas, rooms, and kennels are kept clean and hygienic by frequently cleaning up after the dogs.
- Give baths to dogs as needed and ensure each dog has a fresh, clean space to relax.
What We’re Looking For:
- A true dog lover who is passionate about caring for and understanding the needs of dogs.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to engage in cleaning and sanitization duties to maintain a pristine environment.
- Prior experience working with dogs (preferred but not required).
