Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Crate Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing sturdy, high-quality crates and packaging solutions using a variety of woodworking and machining techniques. Your expertise in mechanical assembly, use of power and hand tools, and familiarity with warehouse operations will be essential to ensure efficient production and delivery of custom crates that meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Operate woodworking machinery, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble crate components with precision.
- Measure materials accurately using calipers and other measuring devices to ensure proper fit and dimensions.
- Assemble crates utilizing hand tools, mechanical fasteners, and construction techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use forklifts to move raw materials, finished crates, and other heavy items safely within the warehouse or manufacturing floor.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and optimize fabrication processes.
- Follow detailed work orders and specifications to produce custom crates tailored to client needs or shipping requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to safety standards and ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Requirements
- Proven experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or construction environments with hands-on assembly skills.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, CNC machines, and machining equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
- Experience with calipers or other precision measurement tools for quality control.
- Warehouse experience including heavy lifting, material handling, and inventory management is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials repeatedly throughout shifts.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machinery operation, forklift use, and general manufacturing practices.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
