Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant standards
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring efficient workflow
- Ensure all food served meets safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic culinary techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is valued highly
