Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Elderly Care professionals to provide high-quality support and assistance to seniors in a home care or assisted living setting. This role involves working closely with elderly individuals to promote their well-being, independence, and comfort. Ideal candidates will have experience in patient care, nursing, or senior care environments, and possess a genuine desire to improve the lives of older adults. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors, fostering a positive environment
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with disabilities or special needs, including those with dementia or undergoing hospice care
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent falls or injuries
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is highly valued. A background in caregiving, nursing, or related fields such as assisted living and senior care is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. Physical ability for heavy lifting and long periods of standing is required. Prior experience in medication administration and meal preparation is advantageous. Pay: From $23.87 per hour
