What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 tutoring in K-12 school level.
- Provide personalized academic tutoring support for students with complex, diverse learning needs who may or may not have an official diagnosis.
- Help students build confidence, skills, and lifelong learning habits.
- Personalize lesson approaches to meet each student’s needs.
- Tutor in‑home across East Vancouver. Some virtual tutoring may be available but not guaranteed.
- Submit simple session notes after each lesson.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for helping students succeed.
- Strong comfort with academics from K- 12 in a variety of subjects.
- Reliable, friendly, patient, and great at communicating.
- Able to travel to students' homes or agreed-upon public places in East Vancouver.
- Able to work well with neurodivergent students, including those with learning or physical disabilities.
Qualifications
- Familiar with BC Academic Curriculum.
- Enrolled in, or completed, at least two years of post-secondary education in Canada.
- Experience in a classroom setting or previous tutoring experience is an asset.
- Formal experience working with neurodivergent students, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and learning disabilities, is essential.
- A degree in education or a related field is an asset but not required.

Compensation
- $23–$25 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).
