We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after shifts
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests
- Follow proper food safety procedures at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
- Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
