Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with customers. Prior experience with commercial driving or courier services is required.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to customers and clients.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and professionally.
- Conduct daily pre trip inspection and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving.
- Handle heavy lifting (up to 25 kgs) when necessary to load or unload goods safely.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Good navigation skills and the ability to follow detailed delivery routes.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
