FabHR is looking for a Robotic Gasket Operator to join our manufacturing operations in Ottawa, Ontario. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate and maintain robotic equipment used to apply gaskets to various products. You’ll be part of a supportive team focused on efficiency, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate robotic gasket machines safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Inspect products for quality, consistency, and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and machine start-up/shutdown procedures
- Create, modify, and verify CNC (G-code) programs
- Troubleshoot and rework defects; escalate to supervisors when necessary
- Follow all company procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain production records and communicate with supervisors
- Support additional tasks within the facility as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, or robotic systems (preferred, not required)
- Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent experience is an asset
- Familiarity with hand tools and measurement devices
- Basic understanding of numerical control/CNC machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items
- Willing to work flexible shifts if needed
