What You’ll Be Doing as the Financial Accountant
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and monthly reconciliations
- Complete complex reconciliations involving large volumes of financial data
- Perform variance analysis and investigate unusual financial results
- Support monthly and quarterly close processes and financial reporting
- Calculate payments and manage related accounting entries
- Assist with year-end audits, budgeting, and system-driven finance activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
About You as the Financial Accountant
- At least three years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Actively pursuing a CPA designation
- Advanced Excel skills for analyzing and reconciling large datasets
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and variance analysis
- Highly analytical and comfortable investigating discrepancies
