Aeroex Technologies is a growing international manufacturer and distributor of industrial air purification equipment. We design and build high-performance systems for industrial applications and are known for our quality, reliability, and engineering expertise.
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on metal components, interpreting technical drawings, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and working collaboratively to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Work with the latest welding technology! This role includes the opportunity to use our laser welding machine.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding operations in accordance with specifications, blueprints, and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
- Operate and/or assist with our laser welding machine
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and quality targets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven TIG and MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient with both mild steel and stainless steel.
- Proficient in welding 12-16 gauge
- Experience in operating a laser welding machine for designated production tasks (experience is an asset but not required)
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to commute to 17 Hamilton Rd., Barrie, ON L4N 8Y6
