Position: Manager for Out-of-School Care (OSC) Program (ECE license)
Hours:
- July-August: 6 working hours per day
- September onwards: Split shifts from 7 am - 9 am and 3 pm - 6 pm
We are seeking a responsible, experienced manager for our Out-of-School Care (OSC) program. The ideal candidate will have experience with split shift schedules and meet the following requirements:
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certificate.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with school-aged children.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Activity Planning: Capable of planning and implementing daily activities for children.
- Safety: Commitment to providing a safe environment for children.
Responsibilities and Duties (includes but is not limited to):
- Planning and implementing classroom activities for children indoors and outdoors.
- Flexibility in working across all programs and hours.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for children.
- Collaborating with other staff members on program initiatives.
- Creating a positive learning environment for children.
- Designing and developing learning programs to support children’s emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth.
- Communicating with parents regarding their children’s development through regular reporting.
- Supervising indoor and outdoor play, including field trips.
- Releasing children to authorized parents/guardians.
Qualifications Include:
- Up-to-date Emergency First Aid Certification and Criminal Record Check.
- 2-3 references.
