Condo Lifeguard (Contract)
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Weekends
Job Overview:
Lifeguardix is hiring responsible and certified lifeguards to work at residential condominium pools across the GTA. As a Condo Lifeguard, you’ll be the primary person ensuring pool safety, enforcing rules, and maintaining a professional presence throughout each shift. This is a solo, independent position ideal for self-directed lifeguards who take pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activity at all times and ensure safety of all swimmers
- Enforce pool rules in a respectful and consistent manner
- Respond quickly and confidently to emergencies
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed
- Document any incidents or safety concerns in written reports
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free pool deck
- Sign in and out according to site protocol
- Communicate with condo staff and report issues to Lifeguardix management
- Conduct safety checks of equipment and environment at the start and end of shifts
- Set up signage, safety gear, and guard station prior to shift start
Requirements:
- National Lifeguard – Pool (NL)
- Standard First Aid with CPR-C
- Must be punctual, professional, and able to work independently
Assets (not required):
- Pool Operator Level 1 or Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- Previous experience at condo or private pools
- WHMIS or other safety certifications
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
