Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in health care facilities, office environments, and a wide range of commercial projects. This position is well suited for a dependable, skilled carpenter who can handle a variety of tasks and understands the importance of working in occupied and regulated spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial carpentry work including framing, drywall, doors, hardware, ceilings, and finish work
- Work in health care and office settings, adhering to safety, cleanliness, and infection control requirements
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a commercial carpenter
- Experience working in health care and office environments
- Well-rounded skill set with experience in a variety of carpentry tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical labor
