Role Overview
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant flow of materials and products within the warehouse and across the supply chain network.
This role supports end-to-end warehouse operations including inventory management, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring compliance with cGMP, internal SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory accuracy and ensure proper tracking, storage, and control of all materials and products
- Perform receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and cold-chain handling activities
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse documentation in compliance with cGMP and SOPs
- Manage inventory transactions including receipts, shipments, returns, quarantined, and rejected materials
- Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
- Use ERP systems to ensure accurate inventory tracking and traceability
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments for material movement
- Support demand planning, replenishment, and stock optimization activities
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipment issues
- Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics is an asset
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management roles
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or other regulated industries preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of cGMP and warehouse compliance requirements
- Knowledge of inventory systems and control methods (FIFO, FEFO, cycle counting, lot traceability)
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
