Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food service, and supporting a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following safety protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation and cooking processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to meet food safety standards.
- Support the serving staff by providing timely and accurate food delivery during service hours.
- Keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and sanitized throughout shifts to promote a safe working environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with local health codes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration with kitchen staff and servers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
