Merit Contracting is looking for an experienced, dependable Construction Foreman to lead our crew on commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews on-site.
- Coordinate daily work to keep projects on schedule.
- Perform and oversee PDI preparation and 30-day warranty repairs.
- Read and interpret construction drawings.
- Ensure quality workmanship and enforce safety standards.
- Communicate with project managers and subcontractors.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Assist with carpentry, concrete repairs, drywall, painting, trim, flooring, and other skilled construction tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
- Previous foreman or supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and coordinate daily site activities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Own hand tools are an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
