Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to manage our inbound materials and outbound finished custom metal products. You will handle logistics paperwork, safely operate material handling equipment, and collaborate with our production teams to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load and unload delivery trucks
- Inbound Receiving: Inspect incoming hardware, and components for quality and accuracy against packing slips.
- Outbound Shipping: Safely pack, wrap, and label finished fabricated enclosures and metal assemblies to prevent transit damage.
- Logistics Documentation: Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs), customs paperwork, courier labels, and coordinate directly with freight carriers.
- Inventory Control: Log transactions in our computer system, stage materials for production builds, and assist with regular stock counts.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, unobstructed shipping dock adhering to standard industrial safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of shipping/receiving experience, preferably in a custom manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial shop.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification would be an asset
- Physical Fitness: Capability to repeatedly lift and move metal parts weighing up to 30 lbs safely.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy with experience in courier software (FedEx, UPS), spreadsheets, or ERP inventory systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent time-management, strong communication skills, and sharp attention to part numbers/quantities.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
