Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator for our client, a growing manufacturing and distribution company. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused and dependable warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience operating forklifts and handling materials.
In this role, you will support daily warehouse and production operations by loading and unloading materials, moving inventory, preparing shipments, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to delivering quality work while adhering to all safety standards.
- Pay Rate: $ 22.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Material Handling
- Load, unload, and move products, materials, and supplies using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Receive, inspect, and stage incoming shipments.
- Prepare products and materials for shipment according to company and customer requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management activities.
Production & Shipping Support
- Count, weigh, sort, pack, and unpack materials and products.
- Repackage materials as required to meet operational and customer specifications.
- Open containers, crates, and packaging to inspect or prepare materials for processing.
- Verify materials and shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Support manufacturing, shipping, and receiving operations as needed.
Safety & Organization
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, production, and shipping/receiving areas.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct work in a safe manner and immediately report hazards or safety concerns.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.

Experience safely operating a forklift.

Valid forklift certification

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing 25-30 kg (55-66 lbs) on a regular basis.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Inventory control experience.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with plastic resin materials.

Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Experience performing material testing or quality checks.

Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and data entry.
