Cardiac Technologist –
Permanent Full-Time
We are currently looking for a permanent full-
time Cardiac Technologist. The successful
candidate will have the exciting opportunity to
contribute to high quality patient care in a
supportive and collaborative healthcare
environment. Reporting directly to the Manager
of Diagnostic Imaging, the incumbent is a highly
motivated and dedicated individual with
substantial related clinical skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
performing treadmill exercise stress tests, ECGs,
and Holter monitoring. The role also includes
performing IV starts and assisting with contrast
administration for echocardiograms, as well as
the accurate processing and distribution of
diagnostic reports.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the
following:
- Registered Cardiac Technologist
preferred
- Consideration will be given to
candidates with a health care related
diploma or degree (RRT, RN, RPN, MLT,
MRT, MLA) with demonstrated
proficiency in ECG interpretation and
experience with IV
Therapy/Venipuncture
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience
as a Cardiac Technologist or related
health discipline preferred
- Experience working as part of a
multidisciplinary team to provide
a coordinated approach to patient
care
- Commitment to regular attendance
is compulsory
- Current CPR Certification is
considered an asset
- Meditech experience is considered
an asset
- Bilingualism in French and English is
considered an asset

This position offers a competitive
compensation package including paid vacation
and sick leave, health and dental benefits, life
insurance and pension plan. Starting wage is
$30.51 to $35.11 depending on experience.
